The new Buddhists are among the poorest and most backward people in India. They urgently need help in areas of education, vocational training and health.
This scholarship is setup by Manidhamma and Vivekamitra to help young talented students to complete Higher education. We already helped Deepak Telang to complete his degree successfully in Hotel Management from Hyderabad in year 2003-2004.
We need help for two more students from our orphanages to go on to Higher Education. Rakesh Minchekar from Bahujan Hitay Hostel, Pune needs Rs 21,000 to complete his BA in Management Accounting. Dhanraj Kamble from Bahujan Hitay Hostel, Omerga-Latur needs Rs 21,000 to complete BSc.
Give hope to men from hostels in India, and, in future, many others like them. Give generously to this new fund for Higher Education for men and women from our hostels.
Each rupee you donate will be sent directly to the two students mentioned in the leaflet. Any extra money will be put into a fund which we will develop for funding other students from our hostels who wish to go on to Higher Education.
